1. Services

imasdigital provides web design, development, hosting, SEO and related digital services. The scope of any project is set out in a written proposal or quotation agreed by both parties before work begins.

2. Quotations and pricing

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. Quotations are valid for 30 days. Where the scope of a project changes materially after acceptance, we will agree a revised price in writing before continuing.

3. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, projects are invoiced in stages: a deposit to commence work, with the balance due on completion and before launch. Ongoing hosting, support and SEO services are invoiced monthly in advance. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts.

4. Client responsibilities

You agree to provide content, images, branding, feedback and approvals in a timely manner. Delays in supplying these may affect agreed timescales. You confirm that any material you supply does not infringe the rights of any third party and that you hold the necessary permissions to use it.

5. Intellectual property

On receipt of full payment, ownership of the final website design and content created specifically for you transfers to you. imasdigital retains ownership of its underlying code libraries, frameworks and general know-how, and the right to display the completed work in its portfolio unless agreed otherwise.

6. Hosting and support

Where we provide hosting, we aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime, third-party outages, or events outside our reasonable control. Support plans cover the scope described in your agreement; additional work is chargeable at our standard rate.

7. Limitation of liability

Our total liability in relation to any project is limited to the fees paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, revenue or data.

8. Cancellation

Either party may end an agreement in writing. You remain liable for work completed and costs committed up to the date of cancellation.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

When you contact us through this website, by email or by phone, we may collect your name, email address, phone number and the details of your enquiry. If you become a client, we may also hold billing and project information.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to enquiries, provide quotations, deliver services, maintain records and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of legitimate interest when responding to an enquiry, on the basis of contract when delivering services you have engaged us for, and on the basis of legal obligation for record keeping.

Cookies and analytics

This website may use cookies to understand how visitors use it. Analytics data is aggregated and does not personally identify you. You can control or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Sharing

We share data only with suppliers who help us operate, such as hosting providers and email services, and only to the extent needed. Some of these may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

Retention

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to deal with your request, and client and accounting records for as long as required by law.

Your rights
